HIGHAM FESTIVAL OF SCARECROWS 2019

24 August 2019
You will all be welcomed throughout the three days of the August Bank Holiday Weekend.

This year's theme: 'Famous Characters - Real or Fictional'

Scarecrows will be on show throughout the whole of Higham Village, making it a fun-packed day for the whole family.

Beginning at 11am until 5pm on Saturday 24th, Sunday 25th and Monday 26th August.

Trail maps £3.00
Available at either end of the village from the Village Hall at the top of the village, or the Gazebo as you arrive at the bottom end of the village

All the usual refreshments will be available from the village hall.

For those who may want a different sort of refreshment, the Four Alls Inn welcomes all our Scarecrow visitors.

Many other attractions will be on display during the weekend.

For those who haven't visited before:
Higham village can be found immediately alongside the A6068 between Padiham and Barrowford.
If arriving by the M65 take Jct. 8 and leave the roundabout on the A6068 marked Clitheroe. Continue along the A6068 and go straight through two sets of traffic lights. The A6068 will take you directly to the village, a journey of a little over 3 miles from the motorway.

If arriving from the Manchester direction, down the A56, take the same route as above when arriving at the M65 Jct. 8 roundabout.

On street parking throughout the village.

Come and visit the heart of the Lancashire Witch Country landscape. Everyone that comes delights in their day and returns again.

You can be sure of a warm Higham welcome.

***This event is held, annually, in order to raise funds to help with the upkeep of Higham Parish Church and Higham Village Hall.
